Togolese demand for palm oil is projected to reach 63,740 metric tons by 2026, up 2.5% annually from 55,000 metric tons in 2021. Since 2017, Togolese demand has grown at a yearly rate of 4.6%, putting it at number 41 in 2021, behind Benin with 55,000 metric tons. India, Indonesia and Nigeria ranked 2, 3 and 4, respectively. Togolese production of palm oil is also expected to increase 0.8% yearly to 10,290 metric tons by 2026, from 9,830 metric tons in 2021. Since 1966, Togolese production has grown 0.9% yearly. The country ranked 33rd in 2021, behind Senegal with 9,830 metric tons. Malaysia, Thailand and Colombia held the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots, respectively.
