Mexican palm oil consumption is set to reach 434,000 metric tons by 2026, growing at an average rate of 0.3% year-on-year since 2017. The country was in eighth place in 2021, with Bangladesh coming in first at the same level of 426,000 metric tons. India, Indonesia and Nigeria were second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, Mexican palm oil production is set to reach 143,480 metric tons by 2026, a 2.6% year-on-year increase since 1966. The country was in eighteenth place in 2021, with the Philippines ahead at 122,960 metric tons. Malaysia, Thailand and Colombia were second, third and fourth in this ranking.
