Chadian palm oil consumption is set to reach 1,400 metric tons by 2026, according to figures released today. Between 2020 and 2021, demand for palm oil in Chad remained stable. The country ranked 82nd in 2021 with 1,000 metric tons, just behind Mauritius, which consumed 1,000 metric tons. India, Indonesia and Nigeria took the top three spots in the ranking. The consumption of palm oil in Chad is expected to grow at an annual rate of 4.8% over the next five years, reaching 1,400 metric tons by 2026.
