Mauritanian palm oil consumption is set to remain stable in the next five years, with an expected 20 thousand metric tons in 2026. In 2021, the country consumed 20 thousand metric tons, putting it at number 59 on the ranking for that year. The Netherlands topped the list with the same amount. India, Indonesia and Nigeria were the next three biggest consumers. Since 2017, Mauritanian demand for palm oil has decreased by 1.6% year on year.
