Nepalese palm oil consumption is set to reach 18,000 metric tons by 2026. This is only a 0.3% increase since 2017, when the country had the same amount of 18,000 metric tons. In 2021, Mauritania overtook Nepal, claiming the 62nd spot in the ranking. India, Indonesia and Nigeria followed closely, taking second, third, and fourth place respectively.
