Venezuelan palm oil consumption is projected to drop 8.7% year on year from 2021 to 2026. Last year, the nation consumed 48 thousand metric tons, placing it 45th in the global ranking. Togo was ahead with an output of 48 thousand metric tons. India, Indonesia and Nigeria were second, third and fourth respectively. Venezuelan palm oil production was down an annual 51.7% in 2021, to 1,720 metric tons. Compared to 1985, the output has decreased 28% year on year. Paraguay had the edge over Venezuela with an output of 1,720 metric tons, while Malaysia, Thailand and Colombia were second, third and fourth respectively.
