Consumption of palm oil in East Timor is predicted to reach 8,000 metric tons by 2026. This is a slight increase of 0.1% annually since 2017, when the demand for the product remained unchanged. East Timor is currently ranked 70th in terms of palm oil consumption, a position formerly held by Djibouti which consumed 8,000 metric tons in 2021. India, Indonesia, and Nigeria are the top three consumers, respectively.
