In 2018, Ni-Vanuatu consumed 1,000 metric tons of coconut oil, up from the 1,000 metric tons consumed in 2017. This put the country in 38th place, just behind Belarus which consumed 1,000 metric tons. China, the Philippines and Vietnam were the top three coconut oil consumers in 2018, consuming 2, 3 and 4 thousand metric tons respectively.
