Ghanaian demand for coconut oil is set to increase. Consumption is forecast to reach 8.34 Thousand Metric Tons by 2026, growing at a yearly average rate of 1.2%. Since 2017, demand has increased by 4.6% each year. Ghana was ranked 19th in 2021, with Ivory Coast overtaking at 8 Thousand Metric Tons. China, the Philippines and Vietnam held the second, third and fourth spots respectively.
