Since 1966, Egyptian supply has dwindled by around 7% a year. In 2021, Egypt placed 23rd in the global ranking, overtaken by Kazakhstan at $113,180 thousand PPP (2004-2006). China, the United States and Pakistan respectively occupied the second, third and fourth spots.
