Meanwhile, cotton production in the country is expected to drop 4% year on year to $25.5 million in 2026 from $32.4 million in 2021. Since 1966, supply has decreased by 4.4% annually. Colombia was ranked 35th in 2021, overtaken by Peru at $32.4 million. The top three countries in the ranking were China, the United States and Pakistan.
