Meanwhile, Peruvian cotton production is expected to drop 3.5% annually to $30 million in 2026, down from $37 million in 2021. Since 1966, production has declined by 4% a year on average. In 2021, Uganda produced the most cotton at $37 million, followed by China, the United States, and Pakistan.
