North Korea is set to produce $20.8 billion worth of cotton by 2026. This is a slight increase of 0.7% from 2021, when it was worth $19.9 billion. Since 1966, North Korean cotton production has grown by 1.1% annually. In 2021, the country was in 39th place, though Afghanistan overtook it with $19.9 billion. China, the United States and Pakistan were the top three producers in this ranking.
