Togolese cotton imports are set to fall to $40.7 million by 2026, down 1.2% from $43.8 million in 2021. Since 1999, the demand for cotton in Togo has dropped by 7% year-on-year. Togolese cotton production is forecast to reach $58.7 million in 2004-2006 purchasing power parity (PPP) by 2026, an increase of 0.8% from 2021. Since 1966, the country's cotton supply has risen by 1.1% year-on-year. Togo ranked 30th in 2021, behind Zambia at $55.9 million 2004-2006 PPP. China, the United States and Pakistan were the top three countries in the ranking.
