Argentina is set to export 250,340 kilograms of silver by 2026, according to figures released today. This figure represents a 1.9% increase on the 226,210 kilograms exported in 2021. Year-on-year growth has been steady since 2005, with a 4.2% increase. However, Argentinian imports of silver have been on the decline since 1998, with 2018's figure of $461,590 representing a 12.5% decrease from the previous year. This placed Argentina at number 55 in the global rankings, behind Ukraine who had imports of $556,440. The US, the UK and Japan followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
