Latvia's silver exports dropped by 3.8% in 2021, compared to 2020. This is the sixth consecutive year of decline, with a total reduction of 32.6% since 2015. In 2018, imports of silver into Latvia plummeted to just $1,060, down 53% from the 2017 figure of $2,260. This was the lowest level since 2000, when Latvia imported $3,500 worth of silver. Serbia was the only country with a lower figure of $1,060, while the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan came second, third and fourth in the rankings.
