Kuwaiti silver imports skyrocketed 412.1% in 2018, reaching $463,000 compared to $90,000 in 2017. Despite this dramatic increase, demand for the precious metal has dropped 7.8% annually since 2006. Luxembourg surpassed Kuwait in 2018, taking the number 53 spot with $463,000 in imports. The United States, the United Kingdom and Japan followed in the rankings, taking the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots respectively.
