Silver imports to Cyprus skyrocketed in 2018, from $2,360 to $7,070 - an increase of 199.3% compared to 2017. Since 1994, Cypriot demand has been steadily decreasing at a rate of 18.9% year-on-year. In 2018, the country was ranked 83rd in silver imports, overtaken by Guyana at $7,070. The United States, the United Kingdom and Japan respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th in this ranking.
