Meanwhile, imports of palladium are projected to decrease slightly by 0.1% year-on-year on average, from 61,460 kilograms in 2021 to 60,350 in 2026. Over the same period, Japan's demand has witnessed a rise of 1.3% year-on-year. In 2021, the country placed fourth in the ranking of palladium imports behind the United States, Japan and the United Kingdom.
