In 2021, Thailand overtook Portugal to take the 20th spot with 465 kilograms, while the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively. In 2018, Portuguese palladium exports grew 324.8% year-on-year to 0.53 kilograms from 0.13 kilograms in 2017. However, since 2016, supply has decreased by 65%.
