Slovak exports of palladium dropped by 86% in 2018, compared to the previous year. In the same period, imports decreased by nearly 89%. Since 2009, Slovak demand for this precious metal was down by 65.5%. In 2018, the country was in 41st place in the world rankings of palladium exporters, with Kuwait ahead of it with 3 Kilograms. The United States, Japan and the United Kingdom respectively came in second, third and fourth.
