Malaysia's palladium exports are expected to reach 791.04 kilograms by 2026, according to figures from 2021. This marks a 4.7% growth on the 597.1 kilograms recorded in 2021. Since 2005, Malaysia's palladium supply has increased by 43.3% on an annual basis. In 2018, Malaysia imported 202.91 kilograms of palladium, a 78.1% increase on the 113.95 kilograms imported in 2017. Over the past 15 years, the country's demand for palladium has grown by 79.1% every year. The United Arab Emirates overtook Malaysia as the world's 25th biggest importer of palladium in 2018, while the United States, Japan and the United Kingdom came in second, third and fourth place respectively.
