Egypt is set to become one of the world's top titanium importers. By 2026, the country's titanium imports are projected to reach around $426,000 – up 4.4% each year from 2021's figure of $329,000. Since 2009, Egyptian demand for the metal has increased 73.7% annually. In 2021, the country ranked 43rd in the world for titanium imports, surpassed only by New Zealand with its own $329,000. France, the UK and Italy followed in positions two, three and four respectively.
