Irish demand for titanium is projected to reach $15.2 million by 2026, a 4.1% increase from 2021. This 14% year-on-year growth since 1997 has seen the country rank 15th globally in 2021. Canada was in first place, followed by France, the UK and Italy. In 2018, Ireland exported 115 kilograms of titanium - a 92.2% decrease on 2017's 1,470 kilograms. Despite this, the 22.9% year-on-year growth since 1997 placed the country 56th in the global rankings, with Greece overtaking in first place. The US, Kazakhstan and Germany were second, third and fourth respectively.
