Romania's titanium imports are expected to reach nearly $5 million by 2026, up from $4.3 million in 2021. This growth has been steady, with an average annual increase of 2% since 1996. In 2021, Romania was the 23rd largest importer, surpassed by Mexico, while France, the UK and Italy ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Exports of titanium from Romania are forecasted to reach 341,990 kilograms by 2026, a sizable jump from 268,380 kilograms in 2021. This growth is even more significant when considered over the longer term, with a 48% increase since 2003. Romania was 28th in 2021, coming behind Slovenia, but ahead of the US, Kazakhstan and Germany, which ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
