Sudan's crude oil production tumbled 24 percent in 2021, dropping to 1.3 million tonnes of oil equivalent compared to 1.7 million tonnes the year before. Since 2001, the country's supply has decreased by 24.1 percent year on year. Sudan ranked 54th in 2021, slightly behind Cuba's 1.3 million tonnes of oil equivalent. Saudi Arabia, the United States and Iraq ranked second, third, and fourth, respectively.
