Tunisia was the 52nd highest producer of oil in 2021, with Belarus ahead in first place at 1,370 thousand tonnes of oil equivalent. Saudi Arabia, the US and Iraq were the 2nd, 3rd and 4th largest oil producers in the world respectively.
