Filipina crude oil demand rose by nearly 400,000 metric tonnes in June 2021 compared to the month prior. This was a 15.2% drop compared to the same time last year. Since 2007, Filipino crude oil production has been decreasing by an average of 0.8% each year. In 2021, it reached a total of 626,000 metric tonnes, putting the country in 63rd place on the global ranking. France was top, followed by Saudi Arabia, the United States and Iraq.
