Emirati crude oil production is set to reach 166,000 tonnes of oil equivalent by 2026. This marks a 0.9% annual increase from 2021, when the country produced 155,000 tonnes of oil equivalent. Since 1976, Emirati supply has decreased by an average of 0.3% each year. In 2021, the UAE was number 8 on the global crude oil production ranking. Canada overtook them with 154,880 tonnes of oil equivalent. Saudi Arabia, the United States, and Iraq came in second, third and fourth respectively.
