Qatari crude oil production is forecast to reach 26.6 million tonnes of oil equivalent by 2026. This is a drop of 1.3% compared to 2021's figure of 28.3 million tonnes of oil equivalent. Since 1976, Qatari supply has fallen by 2.8% year on year. In 2021, Qatar was ranked 27th in the world for crude oil production, with Egypt overtaking it at 28.3 million tonnes of oil equivalent. Saudi Arabia, the United States and Iraq came in at 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
