Demand for crude oil in Albania is expected to grow by two-thirds in December 2021, compared to the previous month. This is a marked increase from the year before, when demand had fallen by nearly 40%. Albanian crude oil production is set to reach 1,090,000 tonnes of oil equivalent in 2026, a slight increase of 0.8% compared to 2021. This is a decrease of 0.5% since 1976, when the country was ranked 58th. Poland had the highest production in 2021, followed by Saudi Arabia, the United States and Iraq.
