This would represent a decrease of 0.4% from 2021, when production was 910 thousand tonnes of oil equivalent. Since 1995, Serbian crude oil production has decreased by an average of 1.5% year on year. In 2021, Serbia ranked 59th in the world for crude oil production, behind Nigeria. Saudi Arabia, the United States and Iraq were the top three producers in the world.
