Candy imports and exports in the Ivory Coast have seen a dramatic drop in the last year. In 2021, the country shipped 106,000 kilograms of candy, a 46.9% decrease from the 199,800 kilograms it exported in 2020. This marks a 34.6% drop from the amounts exported in 2000. Cyprus overtook Ivory Coast in 2021, shipping 106,000 kilograms of candy. China, Mexico and Belgium respectively ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. In terms of imports, the Ivory Coast is expecting to bring in 9 million kilograms of candy in 2026, up 3.5% from the 7.3 million kilograms imported in 2021. This marks a 5.1% increase from the amounts imported in 2000. Niger overtook the Ivory Coast in 2021, importing 7.3 million kilograms of candy. The United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands respectively ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking.
