Palestinian exports of dried fruit have fallen by 14.4%, from $22,400 in 2020 to $19,170 in 2021. This was the lowest level since 2012, when the figure was 4.2% higher. Honduras overtook Palestine and took 92nd place in the global ranking. Germany, the United States and Chile ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Palestinian imports of dried fruit are expected to rise 3.5% a year on average, from $1,475,100 in 2021 to $1,824,500 in 2026. This is 12% higher than the 2012 figure. Costa Rica overtook Palestine and took 76th place in the global ranking. Germany, the United Kingdom and China ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
