In 2021, Zimbabwe was the highest exporter at $2.9 billion, while Belize was ranked 102nd. Germany, the United States and Chile took the second, third and fourth positions respectively. Belizean imports of dried fruit are expected to reach $34.6 billion by 2026, at an average rate of decline of 1.9% year-on-year. Since 1997, demand for the product in Belize has decreased by 5.7% annually. The Solomon Islands topped the 2021 rankings with $38.7 billion, while Belize took the 125th spot. Germany, the United Kingdom and China took second, third and fourth places respectively.
