Exports of Spanish dried fruit are projected to reach $151 million by 2026, up 2.3% annually on average since 2021, when exports hit $130 million. That year, China overtook Spain to become the leading exporter. Germany, the United States and Chile were the next biggest exporters. Imports of Spanish dried fruit are forecast to grow to $74 million in 2026, an average increase of 1.6% per year since 2021, when imports totaled $67 million. Canada was the biggest importer that year, followed by Germany, the United Kingdom and China. Since 1994, Spanish supply and demand for dried fruit have been rising at an average rate of 2.7% and 2.8% respectively.
