Exports of Omani dried fruit are expected to rise to around $930,000 by 2026, according to recent figures. This is an increase of 4.7% annually since 2021, when exports totalled $701,000. In 2010, exports stood at $770,000 and have grown by 21.3% since then. Ireland was the largest exporter of dried fruit in 2021, followed by Germany, the United States and Chile. Imports of Omani dried fruit are set to reach $6.2 million by 2026, a rise of 3.9% annually since 2021, when imports totaled $4.9 million. Since 1994, imports have increased by 18.4%. Chile was the largest importer of dried fruit in 2021, followed by Germany, the United Kingdom and China.
