Consumption of biscuits is forecast to decline slightly by the year 2026. In 2020, consumption was estimated at 116.95 million kilograms, and is predicted to dip to 115.79 million kilograms by the end of 2026. This represents an average decrease of 0.2% year on year. Despite the decline, demand for biscuits is projected to remain unchanged in 2021. Spain, Italy and France took the second, third and fourth places in terms of biscuit consumption respectively.
