Polish demand for spices is projected to rise 2% annually over the next five years, reaching 21,000 metric tons by 2026. Currently, the country ranks 42nd in the world for spice consumption, with 19,000 metric tons consumed in 2021. This figure has not changed since 2017. Mali overtook Poland in 2021, consuming 19,000 metric tons. Bangladesh, Indonesia and China occupy the top three positions in the global spice consumption rankings with no change since 2017.
