Mexico is set to remain one of the top producers of garlic in the world. Production of garlic in Mexico is expected to reach 101,360 metric tons by 2026, growing 1.8% each year on average since 1966. The country was ranked 17th in 2021, just below Peru which produced 91,600 metric tons. India, Bangladesh, and South Korea were the top three producers. Mexico is poised to remain one of the leading garlic producers in the world.
