Mongolia's fruit production is projected to rise to approximately 2,400 metric tons by 2028, up from around 2,100 metric tons in 2023. This represents an average annual growth rate of 2.5%. Historically, Mongolia's fruit supply has seen a steady increase, averaging a 3.8% annual growth rate since 1966. Despite this progress, the country ranked 180th in global fruit production in 2023. In the same year, the Federated States of Micronesia matched Mongolia's output with about 2,100 metric tons. Leading the global rankings were India, Brazil, and Mexico, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions respectively.
