In the global ranking for fruit production in 2023, Portugal was positioned at number 59. Tunisia surpassed Portugal with a production volume of around 2.1 million metric tons. The leading countries in fruit production were India, Brazil, and Mexico, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
