China's appetite for grapes is set to grow. Between 2021 and 2026, Chinese grape consumption is predicted to increase by 0.7% year on year to reach 11.1 million metric tons. This growth rate has been consistent since 2017. The United States, India and Iran are the next biggest consumers in that order. Meanwhile, the country's grape production is also expected to grow. By 2026, Chinese grape production is expected to reach 17.5 million metric tons, an increase of 2.3% year on year since 2021. Italy, the United States and Spain are the largest producers in that order.
