Mexican demand for apples is expected to reach almost 890,000 metric tons by 2026, up 0.4% annually, according to recent figures. Since 2017, Mexican consumption of apples has been rising at a rate of 0.3% each year. In 2021, the country was the ninth-largest consumer in the world, behind Uzbekistan, which was the top consumer at 870,000 metric tons. The United States, India, and Russia came in second, third, and fourth, respectively.
