Consumption of Swazi grapefruit is predicted to remain stagnant over the next five years. According to forecasts, the country is expected to consume 22 thousand metric tons of the fruit in 2026, equivalent to levels seen in 2021. Since 2017, demand for grapefruit in Swaziland has remained flat. In 2021, the country was ranked 28th in global consumption, behind the Bahamas (22 thousand metric tons). Vietnam, the US and Mexico were ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
