Since 2019, Latvian vegetable supply has already experienced a yearly decrease of 1.3%. As a result, Latvia was ranked 120th globally in 2023, with Liberia surpassing it by producing 134,000 metric tons. In the global rankings for vegetable production, India, the United States, and Iran hold the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
