In a parallel trend, vegetable production in Yemen is also anticipated to fall. By 2028, production is predicted to drop to about 534,000 metric tons from an estimated 572,000 metric tons in 2023. This translates to an average annual decline of 1.1%. Since 2019, the supply of vegetables in the country has been decreasing at an average rate of 1.5% per year.
