Since 1966, the country's eggplant supply has increased by an average of 6.7% each year. In 2021, Bulgaria came in at number 49 in the rankings, just behind Belgium, which produced 10,930 metric tons. India, Egypt and Iran ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
