Since 2017, demand has decreased by 1.1% each year on average. In 2021, Kenya ranked 21st in the world for pea consumption. Germany surpassed them with 31,000 metric tons. China, Ethiopia and Bangladesh ranked second, third and fourth in the global pea consumption rankings, respectively.
