This figure has been steady since 2017 and the country ranked 57th in 2021, behind Australia's 6 thousand metric tons. China, Ethiopia and Bangladesh were the top three countries in the same ranking. On the production side, Lithuania is expected to grow its pea output to around 228 thousand metric tons in 2026, a 1.5% increase year on year since 1997.
